Frank Crowley

Question:

370 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a cattle headage grant payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and the reason for the delay in issuing payment.

The person named is not an applicant for cattle headage grant in 1992 or in any previous year.

His application for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and, if found in order, payment will be made shortly.

371 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a sheep headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

Further investigation is necessary in this case before a decision can be made on whether or not the person named is entitled to grants under the 1992 schemes.

Charles Flanagan

Question:

372 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef cow subsidy will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Laois.

The person named was paid his 1992 cattle headage and special beef pemium schemes grants in late and mid-November 1992 respectively. He did not apply for grants under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme.

373 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in issuing a beef subsidy in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Laois.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme was rejected at computer validation stage. The problem has been rectified and payment will be made shortly.
