Vol. 428 No. 1

Written Answers. - Appropriate Placement.

Tony Gregory

Question:

422 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 can be transferred to an appropriate placement in the Dublin area from Glencraig, Camphill Community, County Down as this is most unsuitable from the mother's point of view.

It would not be appropriate to give details of this persons's case in response to the Deputy's question. However, I understand that both the Eastern Health Board and the Department of Education are of the opinion that the Camphill Community in Glencraig is the most suitable placement available for this person.

I will communicate the details of the case separately to the Deputy.
