136 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance the timetable for the consultation with the National Economic and Social Forum on the National Development Plan, in the light of the deadline for submission of the plan to the EC.
No specific deadline has been set as yet at EC level for the submission of the National Development Plan for the next round of EC Structural Funds. It is hoped to submit the plan around end May or early June. Arrangements will be made to consult the National Economic and Social Forum in the preparation of the plan when that body is established.
