101 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Education if she will give information which Deputy Noel Ahern has sought for months in correspondence with her Department without success on the application for certain third level education grants (details supplied).
Regarding the first case, I understand from Dublin Corporation, the body statutorily entrusted with the administration of higher education grants scheme in this case, that the person in question has been deemed ineligible for a grant on the basis that family reckonable income exceeded the prescribed limit.
In the second case, I understand that the person in question is in receipt of a full maintenance ESF grant in respect of this studies in Dundalk regional technical college.
