Standing Order 35: Motion.

I move:

That, with effect from 27th April, 1993 until further notice in the 27th Dáil, Standing Order 35 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business be amended by the substitution of the following subsection for subsection (1):—

35. (1) Questions addressed to the Taoiseach may be taken only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and shall be placed on the Order Paper before Questions to other members of the Government to be asked on the same day. The time allowed for Taoiseach's questions shall not exceed 30 minutes on Tuesdays. Any Question to the Taoiseach which appears on Tuesday's Order Paper and which is not disposed of shall be placed on the Order Paper for the following day before Questions to the Taoiseach to be asked on that day.
