132 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment the date an application from Donegal County Council to sanction a speed limit zone through the village of Mullaghduff, County Donegal was received; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
During the period September 1990 to July 1992, proposals for the revision of speed limits in the county as a whole were submitted to my Department by Donegal County Council. Included in the submission received in September 1990 was a proposal to introduce a 40 mph speed limit on a road at Mullaghduff. In accordance with normal procedures this proposal will be dealt with during the next few months, as part of the review of the speed limits for the county as a whole.
