Question:149 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for the Environment the number of sewage treatment plants being planned by Cork County Council and Cork Corporation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Sewage Treatment Plants.
Preliminary reports and/or contract documents for six new sewage treatment plants have been submitted to my Department. Briefs for the preparation of preliminary reports have been approved in respect of a further five projects; the formulation of specific proposals in these cases is now a matter for the relevant sanitary authority.
