116 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if he will give details of the number of first year apprentices in the different craft apprenticeships as recognised by FÁS; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Details of the number of first year apprentices in the different craft sectors as recognised by FÁS are set out in a tabular statement which will be circulated in the official report.
Later this year FÁS expects to implement the revised apprenticeship system which has been agreed in the context of the Programme for Economic and Social Progress.
