Vol. 429 No. 7

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Ivan Yates

Question:

92 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The application of the persons named for grants under the June 1992 Special Beef Premium Scheme was rejected when subjected to a validation check by computer. The problem with the application is being dealt with at present and is expected to be resolved very soon. The application will then be processed further and if found in order payment will be made.

Ivan Yates

Question:

93 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium payment, due since 1992, will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named has already been paid his grants under the June 1992 Special Beef Premium Scheme.

Paul Connaughton

Question:

94 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason a special beef premium has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; and when it will be paid.

The application in this case for grants under the June 1992 Special Beef Premium Scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will be made shortly.

Delay arose in this case because the person named was unable to account for an animal on which Special Beef Premium had been claimed and which was not present at inspection and whose tag number did not appear on slaughter certificates.
