117 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Education the present position concerning negotiations towards a merger or other new relationship between Dublin City University and St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra; and if she will give a timetable within which conclusive decisions will be publicly announced.

Discussions are still ongoing between Dublin City University and St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra, on new linkages between those two institutions.

The matter is being actively pursued. However, I am not in a position to state precisely when an agreement will be finalised.
