Question:

218 Mr. Morley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The application of the person named for grants under the June 1992 special beef premium scheme was rejected when subjected to a validation check by computer. The problem with the application is being dealt with at present and, when resolved, the application will be processed further and if found in order payment will be made.

219 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

220 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if there are any proposals to pay the 1992 beef premium grant to all applicants approved in December 1992, in the immediate future.

It is expected that payments in respect of the December 1992 application period for the special beef premium scheme will commence later this month.
