Question:97 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health whether he supports the ME Awareness Day; and if he will make funds available for research into ME.

To date my Department has received no request from the ME Support Group for research funds or for support for ME Awareness Day. If the group submit their detailed proposals to me I will arrange to have them examined and responded to without delay.
