Vol. 430 No. 7

Written Answers. - Garda Checkpoint Facilities.

Patrick D. Harte

Question:

43 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Justice if her attention has been drawn to the lack of facilities at the Garda checkpoint at Doneloop, Castlefin, County Donegal, and to the fact that the present accommodation lacks basic toilet facilities; and when proper facilities will be provided.

I am advised by the Garda authorities, who have a certain amount of delegated responsibility in the area of maintaining accommodation, that they will shortly be carrying out works to provide the facilities which are currently lacking. Toilet facilities have, incidentally, been provided.
