239 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Education if an application for grant aid from the Convent of Mercy national school, Ballinasloe, County Galway, has been approved; if the grant will be paid in 1993; and if her attention has been drawn to the dangerous condition of many of the windows in the school.

The application in question has been under consideration in my Department and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities in the near future.
