Question:44 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for the Environment when he proposes to grant aid the proposed sewerage scheme for Williamstown, County Galway; the position of the scheme; and the total cost of the scheme.
Written Answers. - Williamstown (Galway) Sewerage Scheme.
Contract documents for this scheme are under consideration in my Department. The estimated cost of the scheme now proposed is in the region of £1 million. Having regard to the overall demand on the water and sanitary services programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve the scheme.
