Question:68 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works intends to preserve Mocollop Castle, Mocollop, Ballyduff Upper, County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Mocollop Castle, County Waterford.
Mocollop Castle is not in State care and the Office of Public Works is not therefore empowered to incur expenditure on its preservation. However, it is an important monument and the Office of Public Works would like to take it into State care when its resources permit.
