123 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the total number of medical card holders in the Eastern Health Board catchment area who are on the waiting list for dental examination, routine dental treatment and orthodontic dental treatment; and if he will give a breakdown of the number of patients in each category.

The maintainance of waiting lists for dental treatment is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board and I have referred this matter to the Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Health Board for his immediate attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
