Written Answers - County Wexford School Furnishing.

Question:

92 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Education the date an application for moneys for furniture and fittings at Kilrush National School, County Wexford, was made; the progress, if any, which has been made on this application; the moneys, if any, which have been paid to date and the circumstances under which these moneys have been paid; the amount and nature of moneys outstanding; the likely outcome in respect of moneys applied for and not yet paid; when they will be paid; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department paid a grant in December 1992 in respect of the cost of furniture provided at this school.

An application for grant-aid in respect of the provision of blinds is under consideration and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities at an early date.
