Question:

132 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Health if, in view of the serious social problems in the Priorswood area of North Dublin, he will ensure that adequate funding from the Eastern Health Board will be continued to the Children's Centre at 52 Moatview Avenue, Priorswood, Coolock, Dublin 17, under whatever arrangements the Children's Centre Committee may make with the Eastern Health Board at this premises.

Minister for Health (Mr. Howlin):

The provision of funding in this case is a matter for the Eastern Health Board. I understand that discussions are ongoing between the board and the Moatview Management Committee in relation to the future child care services to be provided at the premises.
