Question:154 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for the Environment if the roadway from Childers Road to the Lantern Lodge, Adare, County Limerick will be proceeded with in 1993; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Limerick County Council have submitted an environmental impact statement for this project and have sought certification of the project in accordance with Article 38 of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations, 1990. The council has been informed that its request will be considered in conjunction with the compulsory purchase order which is being prepared by them. Pending receipt and consideration of this order, it is not possible to indicate when the scheme will start.
