Question:160 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Marine the reason the Annual Reports and Accounts for 1991 of the Central Fisheries Board, the Regional Fisheries boards and Foyle Fisheries Commission have not been submitted.

The delay in submitting the 1991 Annual Reports and Accounts of the Central and Regional Fisheries Boards is due mainly to inadequate staff resources in these boards and their heavy workload.
In the case of the Foyle Fisheries Commission I understand that the delay is due to a backlog of work due to the absence of key staff on sick leave.
