Question:

122 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a fenced piece of land separate from the Casino in Marino and its environs has been left derelict; and if he will have it cleared and make it available to the local community for recreational purposes.

I take it that the Deputy is referring to the piece of ground at the north east corner of the site. As this property belongs to Dublin Corporation, the Office of Public Works has no function in clearing it or making it available for recreational purposes.
