Vol. 432 No. 1

Written Answers. - Request for Minister to Meet Company Directors.

Alan Shatter

Question:

134 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Justice if she will meet with the directors of a company (details supplied) to discuss with them the matters referred to by them in correspondence (details supplied) to her; and the steps, if any, that can be taken to redress the injustice that this firm has suffered.

The position is that the various matters referred to in the correspondence relate to court proceedings involving the company and I am precluded from commenting on such matters. In the circumstances it would not be appropriate for me to meet with representatives of the company concerned.
