I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Connaughton — the funding of the new sewerage scheme at Williamstown, County Galway; (2) Deputy Connor — the need for the Minister for Social Welfare to review the application requirements of the students' summer jobs scheme in view of the fact that the current regulations are disqualifying the majority of applicants; (3) Deputy Gay Mitchell — the reason persons who have a mild physical disability are not allowed take the full manual driving test and are confined to automatic cars in their driving test as in the case of a person (details supplied); and the need to ensure that this system is changed; (4) Deputy Byrne — the reopening of the gymnasium and the extension of the metalwork room at Ramsgrange Community School, Ramsgrange, New Ross, County Wexford; (5) Deputy Doyle — the fears of the residents of Cahore village, Gorey, County Wexford, due to ongoing coastal erosion threatening their homes and their village; (6) Deputy Batt O'Keeffe — the need to approve the appointment of speech therapists in the Cork area where there are in excess of 1,000 persons on the Southern Health Board waiting list; (7) Deputy Deasy — the chaotic conditions obtaining at the Passport Office in Molesworth Street, Dublin 2; (8) Deputy Hogan — the need for the Minister for Finance to impose a cap on the prize money allotted by the National Lottery and to ensure that the spirit of the legislation is implemented; (9) Deputy O'Donnell — the Government's intentions in relation to the proposed Social Welfare amnesty; the persons who will benefit from the proposed amnesty; the precise nature of the various payments, benefits and allowances to which the amnesty will apply; and the period for which the amnesty will apply; (10) Deputy Jim Higgins — the refusal to give special consideration in the Leaving Certificate examination to a person (details supplied) with a proven specific learning difficulty; (11) Deputy Matt Brennan — the proposed ESB 220 kilovolt line from Flagford to Ballyshannon which is meeting very strong opposition due to the fears of local people that these pylons will pose health risks and that they will be located in high amenity areas and therefore hinder tourism; (12) Deputy Quill — the need for the Minister for Finance to set a ceiling of one million punts for the national lottery prize fund to enable the disbursement of remaining moneys to the many deserving groups which the national lottery was initially instituted to fund; and (13) Deputy Sheehan — the need to progress Caheragh group water scheme, County Cork.
