Question:90 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Defence the plans, if any, he has to replace the inadequate gymnasium at Custume Barracks, Athlone, County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The existing gymnasium in Custume Barracks, Athlone continues to be used by the Military Authorities. The question of replacing it with a new gymnasium is under continuous review in the light of the priorities existing throughout the Defence Forces and the resources available.
