184 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education if she will supply details of all toxic substances used in Irish educational institutions; and the methods of dealing with any toxic waste products produced by these institutions.
The regulation that applies to universities and colleges is that which applies generally to all bodies involved in the disposal of toxic or dangerous substances or other materials. Responsibility for all aspects of such regulations lies with the Minister for the Environment.
