Máirín Quill

Question:

187 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Education the number of the present 918 teachers in secondary, community and comprehensive schools, who are in receipt of incremental salary but who are not in receipt of a degree allowance, who were in service as incremental teachers in 1967, the year before the common basic scale was introduced.

According to my Department's records, 76 of the teachers in question were in service in 1967.
