186 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if she will reconsider her decision to refuse any financial assistance towards the conversion of a room to a library in a school (details supplied) in view of the substantial voluntary work and contributions which the parents and school are willing to make to secure such an invaluable education resource.

It is not proposed to reconsider this decision as the application for grant-aid in question was refused because it was not in respect of essential classroom accommodation.
