Question:123 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for the Environment when sanction will be granted for the proposed water supply to serve Inis Mór, Aran Island, County Galway.
Written Answers. - Inis Mór (Galway) Water Scheme.
I refer to the reply to Question No. 261 of 23 March, 1993. A preliminary report for the overall scheme has since been submitted by Galway County Council and is under examination in my Department. Having regard to the level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision on the scheme may be made.
