Question:27 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Defence if there are any plans to replace the older ships used by our Naval Service; if so, when this will happen; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are no plans at present to replace any of the Naval Service vessels, all of which are in a seaworthy condition.
