Question:98 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a special beef premium suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.
Written Answers. - Beef Premium.
The person named was paid his grant at the end of November, 1992 under the June 1992 special beef premium scheme and suckler cow premium scheme for small scale milk producers.
It has however now come to light that he may have had further milk quotas under a lease at 1 April 1992 which would bring him over the 12,819 gallons limit for this latter scheme and futher investigations are taking place.
His December 1992 special beef premium grant is being withheld pending the outcome of the investigation.
