Séamus Hughes

Question:

107 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when sheep headage premia for 1992 will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1992 ewe premium and sheep headage schemes is being processed at present and will be paid shortly.

Paul Bradford

Question:

108 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if an application has been received from a person (details supplied) in County Cork for a 1992 beef premium; if the application has been approved; the amount due; and when payment will be issued.

The person named has already been paid £632.70 in respect of his June 1992 special beef premium scheme application. His December 1992 special beef premium scheme application is being processed at present and if found in order a payable order amounting to £1,054.50 will issue shortly in respect of that application.

109 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Cork is eligible to receive payment of a 1992 special beef premium; if so, the amount due; and when payment will be issued.

The person named was paid his June 1992 special beef premium scheme grants of £246.05 in mid-January 1993. He did not apply for grants in the November-December 1992 application period for this scheme.

110 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a special beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The person named was paid June and December 1992 special beef premium scheme grants in mid-December 1992 and the end of June 1993 respectively.

Michael Finucane

Question:

111 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a suckler cow grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

My Department has no record of an application for suckler cow grants from the person named for either the 1992 suckler cow premium or beef cow schemes.

Enda Kenny

Question:

112 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a 1992 beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The person named was paid his December 1992 special beef premium scheme grant in early June 1993. His June 1992 application for this scheme was rejected when subjected to a computer validation check. The problem with this case has now been resolved and payment will be made within a fortnight.

113 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a single suckler grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The person named was paid his 1992 small scale suckler cow premium scheme grant at the end of November 1992.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme will be paid within a fortnight.

115 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in the payment of a beef subsidy to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

The application of the person named for June 1992 special beef premium scheme grants was rejected at a computer validation check as one of the tag numbers was invalid. The problem has now been resolved and payment will be made within a fortnight. The person named did not apply in the November-December 1992 application period for this scheme.

Donal Carey

116 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Clare will be paid a beef premium grant; and when this file was passed from the Ennis office of his Department.

The person named was paid his June 1992 special beef premium scheme grants in early November 1992. His application was passed from the Ennis office at the end of September 1992. His December 1992 application under this scheme which was passed from the Ennis office in mid-May 1993 was rejected at a computer validation check as one of the tag numbers was invalid. The problem has now been resolved and payment will be made within a fortnight.
