The South Eastern Health Board regards the provision of a new 27 bed unit at St. Joseph's Hospital, Dungarvan as a vital element of their community care programme. The development of this hospital will depend on the amount of capital funding made available to the South Eastern Health Board and the board's priorities for service developments.
