83 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice whether a person (details supplied) in Dublin was recently arrested for a serious crime in the Harolds Cross area of Dublin while on temporary release in respect of another serious offence; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The person concerned has been charged with a serious offence and has been remanded in custody by the courts. In these circumstances I do not propose to make a statement on the matter.
