Vol. 434 No. 3

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Brendan Kenneally

Question:

124 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payment of a headage grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of the fact that local approval was given some time ago.

The person named applied under the EC suckler cow premium scheme for non-suppliers of milk in December 1992. Processing of his application has been complicated as there was a doubt concerning the applicant's eligibility to enter the scheme.

Now that this doubt has been resolved, however, payment will be arranged in the near future.

Paul Bradford

Question:

125 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be granted payment of a beef premium which is due to him; and the amount of premium involved.

The application of the person named for grants under the December 1992 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order a payable order for £2,952.60 will issue shortly.
