Question:201 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education the proposals, if any, she has to provide extra funding to one teacher primary schools for equipment, as promised by her recently.
Written Answers. - One Teacher School Funding.
I am very conscious of the needs of one teacher primary schools and I will further provide for their needs in this regard as resources permit. However, I have not made any specific promise at this time, as suggested in the Deputy's question. As the Deputy is aware one teacher schools are, of course, eligible, subject to the usual conditions, to grant-aid for the running costs including equipment, of national schools.
