117 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the reason for the delay in issuing a reply to correspondence from Deputy Donal Moynihan on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will have arrangements made to have a response issued as soon as possible.
A reply to the Deputy's representations has been delayed because the person concerned resides in a place where the areas served by adjacent MMDS licensees overlap. There is, accordingly, a technical question about which licensee is in a position to provide him with the best signal. My Department has contacted both MMDS companies in the matter and a reply will issue to the Deputy as soon as possible.
