Vol. 435 No. 2

Written Answers. - County Carlow School.

Phil Hogan

Question:

95 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to complaints made in relation to the problems of a school (details supplied) in County Carlow; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware of the requests for grant-aid towards the remedial works in question at the school referred to by the Deputy. The professional advice available to my Department indicates that only minor adjustments are needed to address the problems regarding the operation of the piece of equipment which is involved in this case and the chairperson of the board of management was advised to that effect on 29 September 1993.
