Vol. 435 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions Written Answers. - Baldoyle (Dublin) Flood Relief Scheme.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

24 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment if all funding necessary to complete the second stage of the Baldoyle flood relief scheme will be included in the 1994 Estimates.

Approval has already issued to Dublin County Council to proceed with the direct labour element of this scheme. Contract documents for the remaining stage have been approved and the council is currently in the process of advertising for tenders. As the Estimates for 1994 have not yet been determined by the Government, I cannot indicate at this stage the provision which will be made for any of the capital services financed from the Environment Vote.
