Question:

48 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Education if she will give a commitment in relation to the provision of an extension to St. Mary's national school, Glaslough, County Monaghan, that this work will begin early in 1994 or at some stage during 1994; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The grant aiding of an extension in this case has been agreed in principle and architectural planning is underway.

This project will be considered for inclusion in the primary schools' capital building programme in due course in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
