81 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education when funding will be provided for the provision of additional classrooms and facilities at Portlaw Boys national school, County Waterford; if she will ensure that priority is given to this project in view of the present substandard conditions; and when work will commence.

Architectural planning of the extension to the school in question has been initiated. This project will be considered for inclusion in the capital building programme in due course in the light of available resources and other commitments and priorities.
