156 Mr. T. Foxe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will make a statement on the high number of cows condemned in each of the years from 1988 to 1992; the analysis, if any, that has been carried out on the causes for these condemnations; and the percentage condemned under the category of cause or reason for condemnation for each of the years from 1988 to 1992.

The following tabular statement provides details of the causes of condemnation of cows and the percentage condemned for each cause. A more detailed breakdown of the heading "other reasons" is not available.
