Question:

4 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Taoiseach the number of people who died or were seriously injured in each of the past three years as a result of defective electrical installations.

The number of deaths arising from accidents caused by electric current was 7 in 1990, 11 in 1991 and 4 in 1992. No corresponding information on the number of serious injuries exists.
