Vol. 436 No. 2

Written Answers. - Clondalkin (Dublin) School.

Chris Flood

Question:

117 Mr. Flood asked the Minister for Education if she will provide the necessary finance to enable the extension and alterations to be carried out at Coláiste Bríde, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, as is urgently requested by the board of management of the school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Archtectural planning has been completed for accommodation to replace unsatisfactory prefabricated classrooms at this school. The school authorities have sought approval to proceed to construction.

This is one of the projects which will be considered for inclusion in the 1994 capital programme. A decision on the projects to proceed to contract in 1994 will be taken when the allocation for 1994 has been approved.
