Question:179 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment the proposals, if any, he has for the funding of the National Roads Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - National Roads Authority Funding.
Grants under section 24 of the Roads Act, 1993, will be the principal source of funding for the National Roads Authority. In addition, the Authority will have power, subject to ministerial approval, to borrow and to levy tolls.
