63 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for the Environment if early approval will be given for the purchase by Wexford County Council of a site for a graveyard (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the fact that there is no problem in relation to the price and an engineer's report has been completed on the site in question; and if he will expedite approval.

My Department has received an application from the parish priest for approval to develop lands as a burial ground at the location indicated. Additional information has been sought to enable my Department properly to assess the proposal. On receipt of this information, a decision will issue as soon as possible.
