Question:99 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment if he will provide national lottery funding for Emyvale Tidy Towns Committee, County Monaghan.
Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.
Monaghan County Council recently applied to my Department to allocate additional funding to this project but it was not possible to accede to this request. The project sponsors were allocated a grant of £2,000 under the 1991 amenities-recreational facilities grants scheme. This grant had not been claimed by the final deadline set for claiming grants allocated under the scheme.
