629 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education the full schedule of accommodation originally proposed in relation to Scoil Mhuire, Clane, County Kildare; if she intends to augment or reduce any part of the schedule concerned; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Scoil Mhuire, Clane, County Kildare was built to cater for 650 pupils with the following schedule of accommodation: 10 general classrooms, 2 lecture rooms, 1 mathematics room, 1 language room and recording studio, 3 science laboratories and preparation areas, 1 demonstration room, 2 social studies rooms and project areas, 1 metalwork room and store, 1 building construction room, 1 mechanical drawing room, 1 double art/craft room and store, 1 home economics room, 1 dress design room, 1 commerce/business room, 1 commerce/ typing room, library and stores music/drama room, guidance area, religion area, general purposes/dining/ kitchenette, administration offices, staff accommodation, toilets, plant rooms, resource areas, stores, and circulation. A further three temporary classrooms were provided in 1987.

As the school is considered to have sufficient accommodation at present to cater for the demand for pupil places in the area, there are no proposals to provide additional accommodation.
