272 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he intends to provide moneys for the restoration and preservation of Moorehall, ancestral home of the Moores; his views on whether this project is worthy of support; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The National Heritage Council has not received any application for grant assistance in respect of the restoration and preservation of Moorehall. If such an application is submitted to the Council, the Deputy can be assured that it will be given due consideration.
