122 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the legislation he has in preparation within his Department; the policy papers in preparation; and the new regulations that are in preparation.
Work is proceeding in my Department, at present, on the preparation of the following draft legislation: Credit Union Bill; Investment Limited Partnership Bill; Protection of Employment (Amendment) Bill; Metrology Bill; Takeover Panel (Establishment & Operations) Bill; Trademarks Bill; Competition Bill; Employment Agency (Amendment) Bill; Reduction in Insurance Costs Bill; Regulation of Insurance Intermediaries Bill; Copyright Bill; Friendly Societies (Amendment) Bill; Companies (Miscellaneous) Bill and Working Time Bill.
These are additional to the following Bills which are already before the Dáil: Consumer Credit Bill; Terms of Employment (Information) Bill; Casual Trading Bill and Apprenticeship Levy Bill.
